With gags and burns geting back into the lineuup do you think ZW has a shot at the title, or will OP hold on to it for another year?

oak park will win state by a large margin even with those two back looking at there line-up they have the potential to have 8,9, and maybe even 10 in the finals.

Not a chance! Oak Park is unbeatable!!!!!! They beat FZW by 200 points at Lee's Summit without the Baileys.

yes they did beat us by a lot, i dont think it was 200, but they didnt have the Baileys, Greg wrestled poorly (like last year at Lees Summit), Brandon got hurt(he is out 2 weeks with pulled muscles and torn cartilage in his chest and rib region), and Mike and Dustin werent there......im not making up excuses, but i really think that our boys can hang with them come february

FZW fans, why do the FZW wrestlers showboat at the end of their matches, pointing up into the stands at their fans? I saw it at state last year and saw it yesterday at LSX, and it comes across as very low class. Have your boys act like the OP wrestlers. They win and leave the gym...quickly. Give me all the heat and trash talking you want, but I say FZW wrestlers show no class when they do the pointing into the stands. Anyone agree with me? (I'm not asking you FZW fans, I know what your response will be.)

In the defense of the FZW wrestlers who point to the crowd...Sometimes adrenaline is running so high you just get caught up in the moment...and acknowledging your crowd is not necessarily a bad thing...I can think of alot worst things they could do...Oak Park has a defferent approach at it..Trust me even they will slip and get caught up in the moment from now and then...then they will get kindly reminded of how to act at practice...I am thankful for the FZW wrestlers, coaches, and parents...it keeps us in check and always working harder to try and keep the pace...

as far as the OP lineup...the Bailey brothers will be back but you are missing atleast one and possibly two more additions to that lineup...

Sorry for the rambling

Coach Williams is right, i believe that Haynes slipped and gave mayab and smith a little "Gun Show" after his win in the finals. Is Gleason going to be at 189 later?

no the pointing from wolfrum and warner, was directed to me, it was my birthday yesteday and i made the trip out to watch em wrestle, i wouldnt consider that showboating, but if you want to perceive it that way thats fine.

These wrestlers work there butts off for months and savoring a win with a little celebrating with the fans ( friends and family) is low class.

Sorry Klhill I have to strongly disagree with you on this one. As long as the winner shows no disrespect to the loser .Why should a wrestler not be able to show how happy he is for getting a win. Lord knows they earned it. If Oak Park wants to keep it simple hey thats fine. But don't think because Their number one the rest of us in Mo. have to patteren ourselves after them in every aspect. Even though I bet every team would like to have their success on the mat.

I personally cant believe that you would consider this showboating. All of these wrestlers work extremely hard all season in the room and when they win a big tournament like LSX or STATE they should be proud and they are just showing their appreciation for those who support them all year.

I think that FZW can definately give OP a run for their money. They are a little weak in the upper weights but everyone knows what they are capable of from 103-152, lead by Wolfrum, Warner, Weist, and eventually Gagliano, but no one seems to know what they are missing at 160. Dustin Burnes has been hurt since the Parkway South Tournament last year, but was healthy over the summer and worked his butt off to be as good as he could. He has a shot at a wide open 160. Brandon Weist is a man on a mission it is too bad he didn't get to wrestle Nay this weekend because I know he wanted a shot at the 2 timer. He wants a state title and deserves one more than anyone in Missouri.

Actually I was there and not everyone knows how solid they are at 160 and 171, and neither of them had a good showing this weekend.

the kids from west all have respect for the wrestler they face they are cellbrating with there familys and friends over there win and no desrespect to oak park and there team but why should every team act like they do yes they have had sucess but every team needs there own identity, and state will be closer than what people think fzw has a couple of tough kids that could get some wins and points in the upper weight classes

underated east...you meant to write they (I assume being Oak Park) had a bad showing at 160 and 171...I am sure you may have meant 160 since Mathew had an off weekend, not making any excuses. But 171 was a pretty dominating performance by Brent Haynes, champion...189 did not place so perhaps that was the other weight you were speaking of...Remember they will be adding 1-2 impact wrestlers in the upper weights...they should be ok in the upper weights...

Until he proves me wrong, even though Mathew may have not had a great weekend...he is always there come Feb. and I will assume he will once again until he is not...and my guess is yes 103 and 275 will both be in the hunt come Feb...
