Brookfield won 38-37. What a dual. Rankings will be shaken up with this one. Don't have direct results right now.

What ranking adjustments do you think may occur?

well Mike Schmidt majored Mears at 112
Kameron Reams pinned Lindsay at 171
Jordon Pool pinned the 145 pounder but I don't think it was the ranked kid
Boone Lee beat Carmichael but it was by inj default. I hope he is ok. It looked to be painful. (knee)

So not a lot of changes but some may occur

Unless the dual results are submitted, I doubt any ranking changes will be made........

Dual results are in
Centralia barely loses, looks like they could have won
Not so sure Wine's predictions of Brookfield dominating state is so accurate...

Since I live relatively close, I went to Centralia last night to see what all of the fuss over Brookfield is about. While the dual was close, 37-38, and Brookfield won, Brookfield did not live up to their advance billing (See Mr. Wine’s comments.). I see them placing somewhere 5-10 at the state tournament, but no higher. Some observations:
Mears: Will definitely not go to state at 112 and probably not at 103; he did not look good, and I don't see him improving to the extent he needs to.
Carmichael: Hurt his knee late in the third period while up 8-4 and injury defaulted. Up to that point he looked more like a jv kid rather than varsity. To even qualify this year he will have to wrestle much much better than he did last night.
Orr: In my opinion, will definitely place top five, although he did not have a tough opponent.
A. Lindsey: Definitely will finish top three, may well win it all; this kid is good.
Evans: Didn't wrestle; evidently a knee injury.
Blanton: Won't get out of districts.
Wine: Didn't wrestle for disciplinary reasons; evidently he has been spending too much time on this site.
L. Lindsey: Highly overrated; was pinned and did not look like a kid who can place at state. He is going to have to step it up.
Swift: Lost 3-2 in the closest and one of the best matches of the evening; looked undersized for 189 and out of shape. He evidently cut to 160 and is now trying to get back up. If he can do so and get in shape he will place at state.
Wilkerson: Will finish top three at state, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him on top of the awards stand. He's the real deal.
Glasgow: Looks a bit small for heavyweight. It was tough to get a read on him; he wrestled an opponent who my sister could have pinned.
All in all, I left Centralia last night thinking this team can't be the best that Class One has to offer.

Be careful. If you say anything about Brookfield, Coach Doss will send you threatening PM's.

gerdes Schmidt is a good wrestler so I'm sure that was a big reason why Mears looked bad
