I have been very happy with the kids and the support from the Admin. We have 18 weight certified right now, and only 2 of those are seniors. I think we are on our way to being a solid program. We have a lot of work we need to do to build the culture though.

We have a lot of work we need to do to build the culture though.
With Pleasant Hill a few miles to the South, Lee's Summit a few miles to the West, and Oak Grove a few miles to the North, I think you have a good opportunity for the wrestling culture to find it's way into Lone Jack!

I may be mistaken, but I think the three that I named are actually school districts that border Lone Jack's district (if not, they are slightly more than a stone's throw away). I don't think that Warrensburg school district shares a border with Lone Jack's and I believe that the 'burg is AT LEAST 3 stone's throws away from Jack-Land!

I guess that my stats girl was wrong about the 160 pound weight class. Someone PM'ed me said that S. Pierce took 2nd not D. Apgar. Sorry for the error.

I thought Stanberry was suppose to be a more dominant team. Were they missing some of their wrestlers? Science fair?
