National Anthem

I have been to two dual meets this year, and no national anthem. (Winnetonka & Lee's Summit) Is this an oversight or what? Growing up, I remember the national anthem being played before every sporting event. It bugs me that someone could just forget it, or not care enough to play it. Is anyone else around the state still playing The Star Spangled Banner?
