Trinity Wrestling Program last year deserves much credit for turning boys who had never wrestled in there life to winning 3 meets against Normandy, Career Academy, and the major upset of the year @ Sullivan. They had more wins than the Men's Trinity Basketball Team. As a former member of the team I can tell how difficult it was learning how to wrestle your senior year with no previous experience against boys who had wrestled 4-7 years. Coach Mark Harris(former wrestler at Ritenour) Coach Lucas (former wrestler at Hazelwood Central class of 95') and Coach Dillick (former state champion)deserve a lot of credit for making this team very well with little resources, excellent staff, great fan support ethuniastic kids. Not to mention two wrestlers qualified for State both of them freshmen. One thing people need to realize is that when Trinity had there only two home matches against Blair Oaks and CBC (JV) the stands on both sides of the gym were filled and it was an amazing atmosphere. This year will hopefully bring more greatness for Trinity's Wrestling Squad. I wish Coach Harris the rest of the staff the team all the best from College Station Texas
