I'm not sure what to think of this yet. As long as strict controls & regulations are administered, I see no problem w/ it.....

Not only do I think every American should be armed, I think all states should have concealed carry laws allowing anyone who is trained & licensed to arm themselves. That would have a dramatic effect on the crime rate.

Having said that, I hope I'm reading this proposal incorrectly. I think I recall another community that passed a law that stated that each citizen MUST own a firearm. Just as I think you have a right to carry, you should also have a right NOT to carry if you so choose. I don't think this Idaho town is saying that; the article was a little unclear. I'll be in Nampa, ID in two weekends, which is only about 15 minutes away. I'm sure I'll hear about it then. . .

And if any of you are acting surprised at this post, I defend ALL of the Bill of Rights, especially the 2nd Amendment. Eff Michael Moore & that BS he pulled on Charlton Heston. . .

When Micheal Moore's name is mentioned in a movie, post, etc - I choose not to read it or hear it. He is disgusting.

Not really sure where I stand on Guns or Gun Control. But Michael Moore grilling Charlton Heston was Hilarious especially when Heston started stuttering and stammering and then locked up like 3 dollar watch. You could tell Heston was thinking about showing Moore his Gun.   I bet Heston got so mad he lost control of his Bladder

RP, you'll be pleased to know I spent this afternoon riding horses & shooting in rural Cass Co. south of Creighton. Fudge, I passed right by your house on the way home. Did you see me drive by? BTW, I found out my dad's wife carries your mail. Prepare for surprises. (And, I threw a whole bunch of trash out the window as I went by. . .just kidding.)

I wonder: when deer season opens, how effective might an SKS be?
