I was wondering if they have there own tour. site for people to read results or is there any where else that is going to have the results as they happen?

If I can find access to the Internet, I will try to update the results the best I can, but I don't think that will happen.

if you can, that would be great. I would really appreciate it.

I know the hotel I am staying at has internet access, now I have to find a computer. If that doesn't work I will update the results as soon as I can.

Howellfan,

As much individual results as possible would be much appreciated. :-)

individual results would be great, but I would be more than happy just with the dual meet results

I will see what I can do. Besides Howell anyone know who is going to be there-so I can look for some good matches?

From looking at the schedules I see that Howell, Zumalt South, Blue Springs, Jeff City, Jeff City Helias, Jackson, Ozark, and Ste. Geneviene will all be there. Any big matchups that any one sees happening?

Granite City, Il. Will be there

Blue Division:
Helias - Ste Gen - Ozark - Ray Pec - Neosho - Jackson - Raytown So

Gold division:
Jeff City - Blue Springs - Francis Howell - Granite City - McCluer North - FZS - Hickman

That may help if you know two of the schools and the kids they have. I would expect Ray Pec and Granite City to win the pools, but I suppose Jackson or Blue Springs could as well.

How about some updates?

whitts

Not sure, but on the Illinois matmen sight, it has Granite city beating Ray Pec in the finals.

It was Granite city beating Ray-pec 48-22, or something close to that, in the finals. Blue Springs defeating Jackson easily for third and Jefferson City defeating easily Neosho for fifth.

Thanks Izzy, do you happen to know what the Granite vs Blue Springs, and Granite vs Jeff city scores were earlier in the day.

Izzy

Granite City defeated Jefferson City 33-29. I'm not sure about the Blue Springs, Granite City score but it was also close. The officiating was pretty poor for some of the duels and several of the close ones could have gone the other way with better officiating.

Will someone be posting individual results? Sounds like some great wrestling.

It was Granite City 40 Ray-Pec 34. Ray-Pec was open at 215 due to injury.

Howellfan,

How did the boys do today? Better than yesterday I hope.

Howell went 3 and 3 and wrestled Ozark for seventh place-not sure on the score, it was close. I know Hickman and Ste. Genenieve wrestled for ninth place, and Helias and McCluer North wrestled for eleventh place. To my knowledge there were no "indivual" champions, only the teams wrestled. I was in the old gym all day with Howell, so I know nothingi of the first, third or fith place matches or about any of the teams. I know before the finals only three kids were undereated (I think), including Loccoco, went undefeated through out the tournament, not sure on the other kids.

How did Crossett do against the field? I know he squeeked one out over Jeff City. How about Plaggenburg, Fankhouser and Balch?

howellfan
12-10-2005, 10:38 PM
I don't remember how every one did but I think Crosset lost one, Plaggenburg lost one or two same with Fankouser. Balch-not including his foreit for taking the ACT-lost one maybe two. If you can get ahold of Mr. Loccoco or Mr. Fankhouser they were keeping track of the duals. I was recording the matches and trying to help my brother out.

I saw on Blue Springs website they had two undefeated wrestlers yesterday. Bowman (171) and Bradley (275) were 7-0 for the day. A few wrestlers were 6-1 and several were 5-2.

Here are the team score results in the JC Tribune - I know it would be too monumental a task to post ALL the individual results but it would be nice to see SOME results like the Blue Springs vs. Jeff City, Blue Springs vs. Granite City, Jeff City vs. Granite City, Ray-Pec vs. Jackson plus some of results from the final round:
