Pre-Registration ends next friday (Oct 13th).
Many tough wrestlers from MO, KS, IA, IL, and CO have already registered.
Can you give us a list of names Jbaker?

I don't have anything near a complete list yet, but here are just a few that stick out off the top of my head.
Matt Lester, Nick Lester, Justin Forrest, Gavin Peters (CO), Ryan Banning, Robert Eklund (NE), Jason Tutt, Trevor Isringhausen, Ben Treat (IL).
Like I said this is in no way a completed list, just a few I got off the top of my head. We will TRY to have a list of those pre-registered after pre-registration ends.
Unfortunately in the past most people have registered on the Friday before the tournamnet. We are trying to avoid that this year and are hopeing most kids will pre-register. It makes it easier to do the brackets and it is a cheaper entry fee.

OP will have alot of kids wrestling but will be missing the Football players (Haynes, Kono, Childs, & Madison). Scotty O and Shane Nay will not be wrestling. They both will be on recruiting trips.
Most of them have a weight in mind for friday but just not sure until they weigh-in.

I thought that Fall Brawl was ran well. There were alot of good matches there this past weekend. I went to that web site to see all of the results. They had last years results still up, but nothing up from this year yet. I will check back later for the other results.
The 152 lb bracket had allot of wrestlers in it. Some of them had initally signed uo for 145. Jesse Stephenson ( Joplin ) 152lbs, had a good match with Dylan Joiner. Jesse lost 1-0. Jesse injury defaulted his second match and did not place. I believe that Joiner lost to Senzee, then Senzee lost to Koehn? ( from Kansas).
Jake Guernsey ( Joplin ) 160lbs, had a good finals match with Ray Hall. The score was tied up 4-4 with 4 seconds left when Raymond took Jake down. It was a good match. I believe Trevor Isring took third over the number one seed in that bracket.
Overall there was some good wrestlers and matches there. I believe that the event was ran very smooth and professionally.

The only complaint i heard was that some wrestlers had to wait 4 + hours to wrestle their first match.
It went much faster last year.
I thought that Fall Brawl was run well. The 152 lb bracket had a lot of wrestlers in it. I believe that Joiner lost to Senzee, then Senzee lost to Koehn? (from Kansas). Pretty sure it was Koehn who knocked out Joiner, and Senzee in the finals. Joiner was at the top w/ #1 seed, Senzee at the bottom of the bracket w/ the #2 seed. Tyler Koehn/KS had a #4 seed, #3 seed was Cameron Riojas/KS (did not see him wrestle at all).

I dont know for certain, but I believe that there were more kids there than last year and the year before. I know that Jesse Stephenson (Joplin ) had to wait along time before his first match, but was because the way that the bracket was set. He had a bye his first round and the kid he was to wrestle the next round scratched.
I believe that the high school boys were in one gym and the middle school or junior high wrestlers were in another gym. I was glad it was set up that way. There was more room, not as crowded as it was in the past.
Olathe was better because it seemed like there were more mats and viewing from the bleachers you weren't way above the action like you are at Oak Park.
That said, they did a good job of keeping mats in use, tournament moving and it was nice that when wrestlers got to the mat, they wrestled, rather than standing around for several matches. would rather have it at Oak Park than not at all. Thanks OP for hosting the tournament.
Eliminating the kids division probably helped logistics a bit.
There were a lot of excellent wrestlers there, but there were an awful lot of excellent wrestlers not there.
