View Full Version : Excelsior Springs
Any predictions on Excelsior line up this year. They lost some very good seniors in Paul Giarratana 4th-Tyler Hobbs 2nd-Dereck Bennet 4th.
Possible line up with out incoming freshman:
103-112- Nathan Doody
119- John Miller-Brennon Grass
125-Kris Holman
130-Kyle Simon
135-140-Paco Carrasco STQ
152-160-CJ Robinson STQ
171-189- Matt Taylor 5th
215-Kenny Slavens STQ
275-?
Regardless of where these kids will wrestle it looks like a very good team. IMOP coach Griem is one of the best coaches in class 2 and will have this team very competitive.
Sorry if I missed someone.

damn Zone....I was expecting to read, "Who is gonna be tough for Excelsior Springs this year?" as the post - you know, like we normally see on here....and you actually provided good info. I'm not used to that.
I used the Fudge rule of posting…LOL. I think our returning state Q have a good chance to place this year. Matt Taylor was a freshman last year and beat some very tough competition. CJ Robinson is another exceptional wrestler who has wrestled in many big tournaments dating back to youth wrestling.
Kenny slavens is playing football and is very focused for the up coming season. I think he bench presses cars for fun.. LOL. Paco Carrasco is a speed demon and has great-untapped talent. Plus as with many programs Excelsior has some great help in the wrestling room starting with coach Greim and great wrestlers from the past like Mike Snelling, Darren Marriot and many others.

Hey Zone,,,did Hobbs go to college anywhere? It would really be a waste of talent if he didnt.
