4. Jeff Foust
D-1 qualifier
5. Jake Dieffenbach
NAIA finalist
5. Dustin Teeman

7. Mike Hansen
5th at 2005 D-2's
8. Greg Nurrenburn
7th place at 2004 D-2's
9. Louis Caputo
great start to a career, if he keeps the success up he should be one of missouri's best
10. Blake Peterson
after sitting last year out he should dominate on the division two level.

Warren,
I'm not sure you could say that Mango is actually wrestling in college, since he does not compete at any sactioned level.
You have a good list but I would consider adding: Tim Kephart, Ed Prendergast, Jake Diffenbach (sp), Dustin Brewer (yes he is still wrestling and was a D3 AA last season)

I would definitely think that Jake Dieffenbach would be on there. Returning NAIA finalist, 15-2 on the year, avenging one of those losses, pinning a kid that Pell beat by a couple points, etc.
I'm still compiling my own list... keep em coming guys!

It would hurt for me not to have him on mine too, but he is just a freshman and after this year is up he will have three more.
Maybe I'll see you at Fox tonight. Later.

What ever happened to Chase going to MU?
I don't keep up with college much, but last I heard he was taking a visit there?
Did he go to jail and never get out?

Why isn't Taylor Hosick on your list for top ten wrestlers out of Missouri.

Can anyone tell me why James Williamson isn't at the top of this list? I may be having a brain-dead moment, but is e not the highest ranked DI wrestler from MO right now?

Should he be? If so, why?

Actually, Dustin Wiles is ranked higher (#14) than Williamson. I think he (Williamson) might be considered if he beats out Chandler for the starting spot.

Sorry about that, thats one of my high school wrestlers. Taylor Hosick does wrestle for Oklahoma State but he is not a starter so although I respect him leave him off the list.

That in no way is some kind of official list. I just looked at past and present accomplishments (really quickly to get a discussion going because i thought the topic had legs). Like Caputo being ranked in his second month as a collegiate wrestler, or Clemsens's two NCAA appearances. If u have a problem with my list, make your own and we discuss things. You could probably change some people's minds.

Howellfan thanx for the link. I always liked to watch him when he was in high school. I can't wait for both Oklahoma State and Oklahoma to come to Mizzou for the dual meets. Mizzou has a very tough schedual this year!! Should be fun to watch!!

I knew I would miss one...As for the rest. Do you really think that Chandler will continue to start if these two continue wrestling the way they have been, regardless of the wrestle-offs?

How much longer do you think there will be much of a difference at all? The person who is improving the fastest is Mike and he will continue to do so. The guy loves wrestling so much he barely goes home to visit his family over the summer or in season because he doesn't want any wrestling distractions. That's dedication.

That's what I was thinking. If people want to disagree with you then make your own list.
