I went to Wal-Mart one evening to get some sinus medicine (I get horrible sinus infections). I didn't know they started putting the good stuff behind the counter. Well, after hearing this news from the worker, I dropped the f-bomb pretty loud because the counter was already closed. I guess I impressed this kid because he started saying it just like I did. Needless to say, the mom started having a talk with her son.

No, I ate at a place in Chicago that was great. No Ed Bedivich or however it is spelled either. But it was over off the canal, bottom of the building, saw the Cardinals versus Cubs in there. Was wild. And they threw wadded up paper towels at each other. Was crazy (fun crazy)

The key is moderation. Drink a few, enjoy yourself, but don't go overboard.
However, to drink or not to drink is a personal decision and I certainly respect your sober ways.

OOK, I didn´t have the escargot last night. I was just to full. I have to hold back some. But, belgian waffle this morning, omelete, and some hash browns. lol OK, I can´t hold back all the time. But as much walking as I have had to do, I deserve it.
Was in Malagna Spain yesterday and Cadiz Spain today. I have to admit, Spain I could pass. Just send me back to Rome or France for all I care.
Tomorrow at Lisbon Portugal Should be a great day and then on to Funchal Portugal where we will be doing the basket toboggan run. Suppose to be really wild. YOu are put in a basket on sled type things to make it slide down the hillside. Two locals run beside you to keep you going on the road and around the curves. Hubby is set on doing that. I just want a helmet for just in case. lol
I will hold off on Breakfast that day.
By the way, no lunch today either. lol

sushi = rice with nori
sushimi = fish.
It's very common to just refer to all of it as 'sushi', however. No, I don't eat any animals, including fish. (More for environmental reasons than any other, although now that I have been veg for a while, the thought of eating animals creeps me out.) I LOVE vegan sushi, my favorite is marinated shroom with carrot and cucumber from Whole Foods, or tempura asparagus from Little Tokyo.

Honestly? I felt my absolute best when I did Atkins. Lost a ton of weight and felt fabu. The no meat thing, as I have stated, is all about the environment. Will I never eat meat again? Who can say what happens in the future. For now, though I am getting enough protein from plant sources. If I could get off of the carbs, I wouldn't feel like crap; and if I wasn't so freakin' depressed I wouldn't reach for a bowl of carbohydrates as soon as my eyes open in the morning. It's rude, by the way to point out when someone is wallowing in despair! :?

Chocolate covered pecans, cinnamon flavored pecans, praline flavored pecans, and a couple other flavors for lunch. With a hot tea to try to sooth my cough. (cough cough)
By the way, anyone ever looking for some great pecans and I mean great, go to http://www.blackpecans.com/ . During the holiday season they put together some nice tins and packages to give for the holidays. Flavored pecans in many flavors. I can attest to how good they are because I bought the 6 flavor container and a 4 flavor large container and I have eat them all. I hid them where no one else could have any and I could eat every last bit of them. :lol:
