why do they hunt you back? why is it called mushroom hunting. I don't go tomatoe hunting, or blackberry hunting, or strawberry hunting.
I think hunting means you have a gun and you have to kill it. Or it will run away.

1. The activity or sport of pursuing game.
2. The act of conducting a search for something.
You know exactly where to find your tomotoes and blackberries. Sometimes I have to hunt for my keys, and rarely do I use a gun

Actually you are killing it when you pick it.

my point - "game" as in animal
noun: animal hunted for food or sport

I'm not very good at it....but, my brother is! He said last Friday that it is too dry, we need a go rain followed by some warm days.
We had both, but not together.

tomatoes do not grow wild in the woods. so i assume it is referred to mushroom hunting since it reflects tromping through the woods looking for your prey 8)
and you best know which ones to pick or else become quite ill

I just bought some mushrooms off of this hippie-looking dude. When I ate them I started seeing all kinds of pretty colors. . .

Hope you liked 'em, I hand-picked them myself under a cow patty, man. The cow told me they were there. He spoke to me, man.
