Her name is Akiela Lyles,and she is indeed a "girl".This is her second year wrestling.She also played J.V. football two years ago.She got pinned at Summit,but she has a lot of heart...

That makes three ladies I can count out there wrestling on varsity. Ashley Hudson at Lafayette, and Ashley Lawrence (sp) from Warsaw. Anyone know how they are doing?

There is a "Sarah Daughtery" listed as wrestling for Center on the Results page with their dual against Raytown South. I assume that this is a female also.

I actually saw a few other girls at 103 but they were all taking forfeits and it looked like they were there just for the forfeit. Definately could be wrong.

Girls do wrestle and sometime just like boy do well. I am being redundant, but there are several girls that are a very valuable member of the team. Ashley Larson from Warsaw and Ashley Hudson from Lafayette are just a couple. Keep it up girls.

I would love to know how they are doing. I know that Ashley Hudson just got 5th at last weeks tournament at 112. I would love to know how Ashley from Warsaw is doing. Any results out there?
