Forgive me. No disrespect at all towards Nick. He's a stud and my guess would be that he'd make 100 wins no matter what decade or era he wrestled in. I was just saying 100 wins is not the same as it might have been a few years ago when kids only wrestled 30 matches a year instead of 45+. I guess I just shouldn't have posted it under Nick's congrats thread, my apologies to him.

I have to side w/ Chin on this. Wynn Mullin had 3 state titles, and I doubt he had 100 wins.

I'd rather have 3 state titles and <100 wins than 100+ wins and no state medal (not referring to Villiquette, of course)

In a fully separate discussion, I'd have to mostly agree with Chin Li that 100 wins is easier to come by when wrestlers can wrestle 45 to 50 matches in a year as opposed to 30 to 35 matches like it was 15 to 20 years ago. I'd also have to agree with Fudge that state medals is a better measuring stick than total wins. 100 wins is still a great accomplishment.

Before anybody asks, I did not have 100 wins.
