I have been thinking about posting for a while. I just wanted to get my thoughts straight.
I want to thank all involved in Mike's wrestling career. Frank and the Fox Kids club. They instilled a great work ethic that he kept thru now.
His HS coaches, Gross, Deaton, Oxford, Zimm, and Alexander. pushed him to get better.
Three straight 3rd's at state, to people who know wrestling, is a great accomplishment.
This website has been tremendous, to all Missouri wrestling fans. Continue the good work.
As Mike goes off to Northern Illinois to play football, we all know that wrestling was a huge part of his athletic development.
I look forward to checking out this website daily.
Good Luck to all- Mark Sobol

Your son is a tremendous athlete, who should be very proud of his accomplishments. It has been a pleasure to watch him wrestle, and I really respect the way that he handles himself. Good luck with rest of your career.

everyone who knows Mike knows what a great kid he is.. not only athletically but personally as well... Tanner is lucky to have such a great friend and I hope they never lose touch...I do remember a day when I could kick his and Tanner's asses at the same time though.. If I try that now I'm in the ER for a couple days :D

Mark,
I must tell you what a pleasure its been watching Mike (Mooch). Not only is he a great wrestler but he is an even better young man. I've watched him win and I've seen him lose and not once did he ever disrespect his opponent or do anything to disrespect the sport. That is a tribute to you and your parenting. I know great things are in store for Mike , not only in Football but also in life...And by the way Jason is grateful he only wrestled Mike once and that was close to 10 years ago.....

Mark,

I still remember the first time I met little Mooch. He was going to play golf and he stopped by to see Mommy in the office. I was interviewing for the Head position with Stan Helms.

Coach Helms introduced Mikey as a future star to Herky wrestling and I thought how could a skinny 98 lber. whose golf bag is bigger than him be any good.

Boy was I wrong!

Congrats Mark, Judy, Jeff and Jenny on a fine job. The only crime is he is not wearing the "Black and Gold" next year. Iowa that is.

Good Luck in Husky town and maybe you can pick up a transfer.

If you ever need anything call.

Kirk, Heather, Gavin, and Peyton Gross

Mark, It was a lot of fun and like I said before, I am just glad he was even able to wrestle at all his senior year. Also, he left a bag full of clothes in my Tahoe. I will get them up to school this week. Thanks again. Coach Z.
