some of the under the radar things many didn't think of that needs to be noted.

A) Mitch Stormdorfer, John Burroughs 1st state champ in 35 years.

B) mike Bell Sullivan's first placer and made the finals.

C)Dexter Sielert being Benton's 1st state champ in over 30 years (I Think)

also some sons joining dad on the medal stand Robert Herman, St. Clair joins Father Robert Herman from Pattonville. Kellen Bounous joins his dad. We all know about Joe Yust.

Dexter Seiter is... the first medalist at Benton since 1994.

However, that year John Phillips DID win a state title at 189 lbs.

Especially sweet for Stromsdorfer since he was knocked out with a concussion last year in a district match with Montieth trailing 4-3 in the third period.
