275
1 Dom Bradley Blue Springs
2 Elijah Madison Oak Park
3 Andrew Beile Liberty
4 Corey Bruner Park Hill South

Elijah Madison, Oak Park?

OP has a new HW?

I know this proves I am a little behind the times, and curious. Where did this high school athlete come from (KS?) and when did he attach himself to OP?

He's from Salina, KS......got 2nd at state last year in Class 5 (which is somewhere between our class 3 and 4). Intermat has him ranked #3 nationally for Sophomore/HWT. The KS folks say he's the real deal - his only 2 losses last year were to a 2x state champ (in the finals) and to another state champ who was a high school all-american and he beat the 6A state champ 2x. Not bad.

add that new 275 and when you really look at OP....
as much as I hate to say it about a KC team.....These guys are the real deal!

It took a heavyweight transfer for u to see that. This is the best team our state has ever produced. They won Lee's Summit by 100 points without both Baileys. They have a JV wrestler at 140 that is ranked third in the state. I look forward to next year when they compete at the final four and match up with blair and lynch.

Yeah, FZW needs to start recruiting better. The Cauley's were a good pick-up but they are gone now. Hall and Madison are a couple of O.P. recruits that could push O.P. to #1 in the nation.

(BTW, this is intentionally fecetiously sarcastic, so please, no death threats from either the OP or FZW faithful!)

I think everyone needs to start recruiting. I'm on my way over to Illinois now... :(

No it did not take the heavy to make me realize this I meant to say that he makes them that much tougher
I think earlier in the year someone said they needed some help in the upper weights to really make a run nationally....they definetely got it....
Well now that FZW is pretty much out of the chase I think OP should pick up a new 215 after kono drops....
