Is anyone able to tell me what happened to Timberland's Derrick Montieth? :?

I did a bit of searching and found a thread on his injury on page two.

Derrick Injured his knee in a dual match the week before districts at Holt. It was unfortunate for Derrick because he is not only a great wrestler but a great person as well.

Talked to Derrick this weekend. He tore a tendon around his patella and had pieces floating. You are right Derrick is great wrestler and super young man. He will be back next year.
