I am wondering what matches everyone is looking forward to seeing this year and who you all think will be the best. Personally I am looking forward to Cody and Mike Kusgen wrestle again. Kusgen beat Cody last year and then Cody beat him this summer, but that was freestyle. I won't be able to watch it but that should be a awesome match.

Mike Krusgen is an outstanding wrestler!!!! Just look at his record each year. The young man knows how to win. He's a great guy as well. I always enjoyed his battles with my son Anson over the years. Mike could take it to the house this year. But I also know that Cody is State Champ material!!! The boy can flat out wrestle. He is strong and smart. I expect him to be near the top of his weight class this year.
Obviously, I am a Fan of both Mike and Cody!!! When the chips are down - who will win? Maybe we can see them in action against each other at the North - South Tournament and again at State.

I agree Mike is a very good wrestler. Will be a great match, a rematch of the wrestle back quarter finals from last year. It came down to a reverse at the last minute. It was an exciting match, that will be one of the matches I look forward to seeing at State. I would also like to see Cody wrestle Trevor, I know this will probably not happen, but I think it would make for a great match. Trevor beat Cody this summer in freestyle, but would like to see them go head to head in folk style. Either way there will be chances to see great matches this year. I know Ozark changed there schedule up a bit this year. I will have to check on if Ozark is at the North South dual this year. But if your at state Wrestling Doc I should be there and will look for you there. I hope Anson is doing well at CMSU.

I wish that I had Jesse's girl,
You know I want Jesse's girl.
Where can I find a woman like that?
Like Jesse's girl.

I’ll play along with this charade,
That doesn’t seem to be a reason to change,
You know I feel so dirty when they start talking cute,
I wanna tell her that I love but the point is probably moot....(probably the worst line in the history of music/mankind)

That's the kind of sapp you get when a soap opera star decides to write songs.

Is it possible for simpson to go to 160? And if he does coach Jackson would have to be considerd one of the best at motivation. As posted earlier on another sight ozark would be considered a COC favorite IF Jackson gets Cody to 160 and the rest follow down other district teams may already be thinking of next years line up.

Cody weighed in at 167 at there last dual. I don't know what he plans on doing though. He cut to that so he would have a little comfort, so he could eat. But Coach Jackson and Cody will know what is best for him. On another note I see Gibson from holt is also at 171. He did well at State last year at 152. It is looking to be a great weight class.

Cody is eating lots and staying around 167. I think he wants to keep his weight up for weights His bench dropped to 275. He says he is going to be at 220 next year for football. Take care of yourself and write me at work.

To keep Cody out of trouble he is eating lots of good food. I see by Mike's post he wants him to drop a weight class. I don't, but the coach knows best.

He is a very good wrestler, but as for tearing up anyone in his way, kind of a overstatement. He beat Cody this weekend 2-0, he won and he is who I would have picked to be the number one, this year but wanted to wait and comment till after this weekend. I heard it was a great match, but there was no tearing up going on. Will look forward to watching a rematch at State. But they will meat again before then. He is the wrestler to beat though. Best of luck to him and the other 171 pounders.

The Branson kid is Jesse Martinowsky and if anything he is a man. He is probably one of the most physical wrestlers out there. 171 pounders can relax though he has bumped up to 189 and from the size of this kid he will probably stay there.

It sure as heck won't be a state finals match-up. You are all overlooking some very though 171-pounders.
