Interesting.

Russellville 231

Hopefully they can field a full team.

There are 3 Russellville, MO's:
-one is about 15 miles SW of Jeff City
-one is around 25 miles SW of Farmington
-one is about 20 miles N/NE of Ex. Springs

Do you know which one it is? The one closest to JC?

If Russellville does start up a varsity program next year, that will probably bump Trinity Catholic back up to Class 2.

Lone Jack has a JV this year. Varsity should be next year.

Talked with the Lone Jack coach when they dualed us and he thought they would have a much fuller squad for their varsity team next year. Currently I think they have 6 wrestlers on the team. A couple looked pretty good.

Sorry I don't recall the name, but was a young guy. Looked to be just out of college age.

Rogersville is the team in the Southwest Missouri area that is starting a program. They are in the process of putting things together right now.

That's great news.

They're the only school in the C.O.C. to not have a wrestling program.

We need more class 1 schools in SWMO to start programs. Currently Diamond is the only one going right now.

I didn't think anything changed for next year. the two year cycle fo Classes and District assignments should be the same for 2007 and 2008, unless MSHSAA changed it's policy.
